Akasiio is a product of Xenium Cloud Technologies, established in Utrecht, the Netherlands (Chamber of Commerce number 92881645, registered address 3541TT 193, Utrecht). For anything in this policy, contact us at hi@xeplatform.com. We are the controller for the personal data described below.

2. What We Collect, and Why

Information You Send Us

If you use the enquiry form or email us, we receive the details you provide: your name, organisation, work email address, organisation type, your area of interest and any message. The form does not transmit anything by itself; it opens your own email application with a message ready for you to send. We use these details only to respond to you and to discuss a possible pilot. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering enquiries, and steps taken at your request before entering into a contract.

Technical Data from Visiting the Site

Our hosting provider records standard server information such as your IP address, the pages requested, the time of the request and your browser type. This is used to deliver the site, keep it secure and diagnose faults. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in providing and protecting the site.

Your Theme Preference

If you choose the light or dark theme, that choice is stored in your browser's local storage on your own device. It is not a cookie, it never reaches our servers, and it identifies no one.

Cookies

We use one essential cookie, akasiio_cookie_consent, to remember whether you accepted or declined optional cookies. This cookie is strictly necessary to operate the site's consent banner and is set regardless of your choice; it does not require consent under the ePrivacy rules.

If you accept optional cookies, we may also set analytics cookies to help us understand how the site is used, in aggregate and without identifying you individually. These are never set unless you accept, and no advertising or third-party tracking cookies are used in either case. We self-host our fonts, so visiting the site sends no request to any third-party font or content network.

You can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie Settings" link in the site footer, or by clearing cookies in your browser.

3. Who Else May Process This Data

We use a small number of service providers acting on our instructions: our website hosting provider, and our email and calendar provider for correspondence and meeting scheduling. They process data only as needed to provide their service to us.

4. International Transfers

We aim to keep personal data within the European Economic Area. Where a provider processes data outside the EEA, we rely on an adequacy decision or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses together with appropriate safeguards.

5. How Long We Keep It

Enquiries and related correspondence are kept for as long as needed to answer them and, where a business relationship follows, for the duration of that relationship plus the retention periods required by law. Server logs are kept for a short period for security and troubleshooting. You may ask us to delete your enquiry at any time.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to processing, and to receive it in a portable form. To exercise any of these, email hi@xeplatform.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) or with the supervisory authority where you live.

7. Security

The website is served over HTTPS and we apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect the limited personal data we hold. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, which is another reason not to send sensitive or patient information through this website.

8. Children

This website is aimed at professionals and is not directed at children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
